Joint CSIR UGC NET / JRF / National Eligibility Test

The council of scientific & industrial research acknowledged as CSIR. CSIR exam is conducted across India to take research fellowship jobs or lectureship jobs.

Subjects of the CSIR NET Test:

• CSIR –UGC NET CHEMICAL SCIENCE
• CSIR –UGC NET LIFE SCIENCE
• CSIR –UGC NET MATHEMATICAL SCIENCE
• CSIR –UGC NET PHYSICAL SCIENCE

Eligibility:

M.Sc or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/BS-4 years/BE/BTech/BPharma/MBBS with at least 55% marks for General (UR) and OBC candidates and 50% for SC/ST, Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates.

Candidates enrolled for M.Sc or having completed 10+2+3 years of the above qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for CSIR NET Exam.

AGE LIMIT& RELAXATION:

For JRF (NET): Maximum 28 years as on 01-07-2017 (upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years).            For Life Science (NET): No upper age limit.
